Port Adelaide FC Community Camp

6 February 2008 No Comment

I spent yesterday in Steel City; Whyalla, in South Australia.

Port Adelaide are spending a few days up there getting involved with local football teams, schools, and the greater community.

Question and Answer time at Memorial Oval Primary School Reception class was pretty amusing. Warren Tredrea and Paul Stewart got entertained with a running commentary on which rubbish bin they should use for recycling, whether new shoes are better than old ones, and were asked whether David Rodan dances better when he is drunk.

The team had a light hit out at training with some U/18s from the area.

Fourteen hours later and I was back in Adelaide. Some pics attached of the day.
