So far, so good. 24 mins to office including getting lost in the city!
OK, so an update. Rather than just bragging that I went for a ride in Sydney in winter, and it was warmer than most of my London summer rides!
I'd heard bad stories about the trek climbing the 55 stairs at both ends of the bridge, but on the City end I didn't even have to, just flew up the cycle lane on Kent Street and then straight onto the bridge, perfect. The cycle lane on the bridge is dedicated, which is pretty nice, and though I didn't try it out at peak hour it seemed to be plenty wide for passing etc.
The steps at the Milson's Point end were fine, sure, perfect world you wouldn't have them, but as is I can't see the government spending money on the alternative cycle route. I get that it would be tough with kids etc, but as someone who just needs to commute across for work it's fine. Works those guns!
