With headlines like that I should be a sub-editor, but in the meantime I'll let my photos do the talking.

I've been slow to update my blog, apologies. Been keeping busy with the start of the AFL season really kicking in. Spent Saturday afternoon at West Lakes covering the Adelaide v West Coast match for GSP Images.

Adelaide won easily, which meant I missed one in my footy tips.

Pics are attached for your viewing pleasure.

Life has been pretty hectic lately, so I've been neglecting my blogging responsibilities!

I'll work backwards from this week as it might help me keep track.

The Adelaide Crows have made into the NAB Cup AFL Preseason Grand Final, so a quick shoot with Crows captain Simon Goodwin was necessary. I haven't seen it yet, but the designers in Melbourne are going to stitch together my photo of Goodwin with a separate photo of Justin Koschitzke for the AFL Record Cover. Once I've got a copy I'll upload a pic.

On their way to the final the Crows were helped out with a bit of Brett Burton brilliance when he took what may become mark of the year:

All in all not a bad game, and it will be a good match again on Saturday.

The week before and the Crows were successful again, in no small part due to the All Australian Captain Andrew McLeod.

Matthew Pavlich for Fremantle never got into the game like was hoped, but still took a few good marks.

Earlier in the week Santos revealed its profits, and the Australian Financial Review needed a photo of the Managing Director and CEO John Ellice-Flint.

In the first week of the NAB Cup Carlton travelled to Adelaide to play Port Adelaide. It was a nervous match for both clubs, Carlton were hoping to improve on their poor 2007, and it was the first match for Port since their Grand Final in which they were thrashed.

As it turned out Carlton went home victorious, and whilst coach Brett Ratten and captain Nick Stevens celebrated, they were aware of the fact that they played an 'under-25s' Port Adelaide.

This post is getting pretty long, so I'll start another one to tell you about Kim & Parish's wedding at West Beach.

Photographer, traveller, journalist, blogger and editor.

After working as a press photographer in Adelaide, Australia for seven years I packed my things up and travelled around Asia and Europe for six months. After the money ran out I relocated to London, where I became an editor for Getty Images. A couple of years later I've moved to Sydney. It's a beautiful spot, and though Paris is no longer just a couple of hours away it is home for now!
